    Sustainable housing Milton Keynes

There is much new development across Milton Keynes as it grows and we are going to look in detail at what has been delivered and some of the key areas including the western expansion area. We will be looking at development sites for Taller Buildings and New Town Heritage assets the City’s Campbell park and a waterside development
Campbell Wharf from  award winning developer Crest. A smaller sized development of town houses and apartments with high end properties and good landscaping which benefits from its location offering good commuting and city centre links.

The urban extension to Milton Keynes aims to deliver 6,500 homes, including 30 per cent affordable housing, in an area which is within easy reach of key commuting routes and Milton Keynes town centre. This development works to sustainable standards with significant infrastructure, new schools, open spaces, cycle routes and public transport links.

Simon Taylor from L&Q Estates will  speak about the Western Expansion Area and Saxon Reach.

L&Q Estates are the Original “Place Makers”, employing a careful and deliberate set of processes that ensure desirable communities are created that work from the outset and stand the test of time. L&Q have developed extensively around Milton Keynes in recent years including at Western Expansion Area, Broughton Manor Farm, Eaton Leys and Wavendon and continue to invest heavily in the region.
